CAMP BADO DANGWA, LA TRINIDAD -– The Police Regional Officer–Cordillera (PRO-Cor) arrested 25 wanted persons in a week since January 25, five were listed among the Top Most Wanted Person (TMWP) in the region.
PRO-Cor Regional Director, P/CSupt Ulysses Abellera, on Monday, February 1, said the arrest of the wanted persons is a result of the continuous implementation of “Oplan Lambat-Sibat.”
The Regional Special Operations Task Group Commander under Sr. Supt. Donato Baquian, the Deputy Regional Director for Operations, said Abra’s No. 9 TMWP, Julio Burton Bayle, 53, a resident of Brgy. Calaba South, Bangued, Abra was arrested in Barangay Calaba, Bangued, Abra on January 30, 2016.
Judge Raphaiel Alzate of RTC Br. 1, Bangued, Abra recommended a bail of PHP120,000 for Bayle’s temporary release.
No. 10 TMWP in Abra, Glorybelle Banggoy Banisa a.k.a. Ka Cely, 29, a resident of Brgy. Kili, Tubo, was also arrested last January 25.
Banisa is charged with four counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder and rebellion being a member of the Kilusang Larangang Guerilla (KLG) Montes operating in the province.
Banisa was served a Warrant of Arrest issued by Judge Raphiel F. Alzate, Executive and Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 1, Bangued, Abra.
The No. 4 TMWP in Baguio City, Jimboy Dapalig Capacap a.k.a. Basilio Dampalig Capacap, 26, laborer, charged with homicide and frustrated homicide was arrested on January 28, 2016 at his residence in Banao, Bauko, Mountain Province.
Judge Cleto R. Villacorta, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 6, Baguio City recommended a bail of PHP160,000 for his temporary liberty.
Another significant arrest was Ifugao’s No. 1 TMWP, a minor female charged with qualified theft.
The 17-year-old from Mayoyao, was arrested in Sitio Fad-angan, Barangay Chaya on January 29, 2016.
Judge Rufus G. Malecdan Jr. recommended a PHP32,000 bail.
In the Municipality of Lamut, Ifugao, the No. 2 most wanted person, Jecelyn Guy-an Buya, 33 of Pugol, Lamut, Ifugao, charged with Adultery was arrested in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya on January 30, 2016.
Judge Modesto Bahul Jr,Presiding Judge of MCTC Lamut, Ifugao recommended bailbond of PHP12,000 for her temporary liberty.
