21 WANTED PERSONS IN CORDILLERA ARRESTED IN A WEEK

CAMP BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad — Police Regional Office Cordillera (PRO-Cor) has arrested 21 wanted persons, including the top five, under its intensified implementation of Oplan Lambat-Sibat, in just one week.

The strengthened Oplan Manhunt Charlie of the Tracker Team of Police Station (PS) 2 resulted in the arrest of the number 10 most wanted person identified as Bong Estacio Mejia, 56, a resident at Upper Market Subdivision, Washington Apartment, Baguio City for Other Deceits.

Estacio was nabbed on Jan. 12 by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Glenda T. Ortiz, Presiding Judge of First Judicial Region, MTCC Branch 2, Baguio City.

Operatives of PS4 arrested Roman Gabriel Ticuan Pitilan, 18, a resident of Purok Magsaysay, Loakan Proper, Baguio City for the crime of Robbery with Violence on Jan. 11 along Purok Magsaysay, Loakan Proper Baguio City.

On Jan. 12, Angeline Maliones y Abalos a.k.a. Angie Maliones, 45, and a resident of Balili, La Trinidad, Benguet was arrested in Pugo, La Union for the crime of Estafa thru Falsification of Public Document.

In the provincial level, the Number 1 Lambat Sibat Target of Mountain Province was arrested on Jan. 12 in his residence in Barangay Bunot, Paracelis.

Suspect was identified as Jaime Puyao Sr., 56, farmer, charged for the crime of Frustrated Homicide with a recommended bail bond of Php20,000 issued by Judge Artemio B. Marrero, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 35, Bontoc, Mountain Province.

Sixteen other wanted persons charged with murder, acts of lasciviousness and estafa were arrested separately.

The arrests of the wanted persons are results of the unified cooperation and relentless efforts of all PRO-Cor personnel in line with the directives of the Chief, PNP particularly in strengthening the LAMBAT-SIBAT. PNA / northboundasia.com
