LINGAYEN, PANGASINAN, Philippines — Two more long-wanted persons were arrested by the police in separate towns of Pangasinan when they returned home from hiding to see their respective families during the Holy Week.
First to be arrested on Black Saturday (March 26) at about 11 a.m. in Barangay Maningding, Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan by elements of the Santa Barbara Police was Mark Anthony Cabrera, 20, laborer, listed as Top Six Most Wanted Person in Sta. Barbara.
He was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court (RTC), Branch 43 in Dagupan City dated Jan. 25, 2016 for the crime of child abuse or violation of Article V1, Section 10 of Republic Act No. 7160 with a recommended bail bond of Php200,000.
Arrested also on March 26 in Bolasi, San Fabian at about 1 p.m. was Christopher Maglaya, alias “Jao,” 36, who was listed as No. 2 on the “Oplan Lambat Sibat” priority target.
He nabbed by the police by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by RTC Branch 44 in Dagupan City for Violation of R.A. 6539, as amended by R.A. 7659, with recommended bail bond of Php180,000 for his temporary liberty.
