2 CATTLE RUSTLER ARRESTED IN LA UNION

ARINGAY, La Union— Two cattle rustlers were arrested here on Friday after stealing two cattle owned by a town resident.

Sr. Insp. Daniel Banan, the town’s chief of police, identified the suspects as Romeo J. Milo, 52, of Barangay Francia Sur, and Rodrigo M. Javier, 40, of Barangay Halog West, both of Tubao town.

Banan said that the cattle were owned by one Carlito Albay, 56, who reported the matter to the police.

Milo and Javier claimed that they bought the stolen cattle from the alleged former owner but apparently failed to show any document as proof of ownership.

The two theft suspect were apprised of their constitutional rights and later on turned over to Tubao police station. Erwin Beleo / northboundasia.coma
