CITY OF ILAGAN — Seven towns in Isabela would suffer a 10-hour brownout on Thursday due to the replacement of wood poles and transmission lines along the 69kv Gamu-Roxas line, according to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).
Lilibeth Gaydowen, NGCP North Luzon corporate communications and public affairs chief, said the towns of Roxas, San Manuel, Mallig, Quezon, Quirino, Burgos, and Aurora would be affected by the 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. power shutdown.
Gaydowen cautioned villagers to take the necessary preparations and precautions for this scheduled power interruption.
She, however, assured that normal operations will immediately resume upon work completion. PNA / northboundasia.com
