SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – More than 800 city government employees here have been given free facials and other beauty treatments during a 4-day pampering service at Plaza Gazebo, City Hall in connection with the 117th Civil Service Month celebration starting Tuesday.
The program is a project of the City Human Resource Management Office headed by Ms. Patricia Georgina Tano in coordination with several business partners in this city.
Besides facials, the pampering package consists of hair treatment, manicure, pedicure and foot spa, that were also given at no cost to members of the city police and Bureau of Fire Protection.
Other services include medical check-up and blood check-up for iron deficiency. Free bottles of multivitamins were also given to beneficiaries.
“The services were great, refreshing and relaxing,” Elmer Fabro, City employee, said.
