TUGUEGARAO CITY — A 5.1 magnitude quake jolted Calayan, Cagayan province and some areas of Apayao at 6:08 a.m. Wednesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHILVOLCS) said.
Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Region 2 Regional Director Dante Balao said aftershocks are expected and advised the public to stay calm and vigilant.
