MANILA, Aug. 11 — A 6.3-magnitude earthquake of tectonic origin jolted Nasugbu, Batangas at 1:28 p.m. Friday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Intensity IV was felt in Calapan, Mindoro; Subic, Zambales; Rosario, Cavite; Manila; and Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro, while Intensity III was recorded in Pateros City; Quezon City; Makati City; Malolos, Bulacan; Cainta, Rizal; and Calamba, Laguna.
Phivolcs added that Intensity II was felt in Magalang, Pampanga and Tanauan City, Batangas, and Intensity I in Talisay, Batangas.
