La Union Farmer Arrested For Illegal Drugs And Ammos

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – The police arrested a 48-years-old farmer in his home for possession of illegal drugs and ammunition in a raid last Wednesday here.

The suspect was identified in the search warrant as Florante Ylarde, 48, a resident of Barangay Dallangayan Oeste this city. Ylarde previously surrendered to the police for the same offense.

Seized from Ylarde were three heat sealed sachets of the banned amphethamine hydrocloride or shabu and three live bullets of a caliber.45 pistol.

The search warrant was issued by Executive Judge Imelda Cosalan of MTCC Branch 1 in San Fernando City.

Ylarde is now detained at the city police station here as he awaits for the filing of court charges against him for violation of R A 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act. ERWIN BELEO/ NPN –
