TESDA accredits Ilocos Norte school as new assessment center

LAOAG CITY — The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has accredited the Ilocos Norte Agricultural College (INAC) as the first assessment center for agriculture crops production, carpentry and dressmaking with National Certificates II and III.

Arnel Sabuco, a department head of INAC based in San Isidro village, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, said Friday they are also on the process of securing pertinent documents to include beauty care, electronics and other tourism-related industries in the TESDA accreditation.

INAC is a premier Techonology Vocational (TechVoc) school and one of the pilot TechVoc schools in the country.About 1,500 students are enrolled here this school year.
