14 Filipino table tennis athletes competing in Singapore

MANILA — A total of 14 athletes from the Philippine Table Tennis Federation Inc. (PTTF) are in Singapore to compete in the 23rd edition of the Southeast Asia Junior and Cadet Table Tennis Championships at the Toa Payoh Sports Hall.

The tournament, which will run until June 16, is sanctioned by the Southeast Asian Table Tennis Association.

Competing in the Juniors category are Jann Mari Nayre, John Michael Castro, Jake Gregorio Manuel and Elijah Chars Johan Yamson in the boys division, and Jannah Maryam Romero, Sherlyn Love Gabisay, Jhoana Marie Go and Rein Francesca Lyn Teodoro in the girls division.

Entered in the Cadet category are James Angelo Deocareza, Neo Angelo Laudato and Andrew Uy in the boys division, and Aubrey Lyn Faye Solis, Anna Sophia Fabregar and Kyla Cielo Bernaldez in the girls division.

The athletes are accompanied by coaches Annabelle Commendador and Rodel Ireneo Valle, and PTTF secretary general, Nico Cawed, and treasurer, Maria Teresa Deniega. JTM/PNA-northboundasia.com
