CAMP DANGWA, Benguet — A total of 43 policemen registered for the marriage enrichment seminar, renewal of vows and mass wedding for the Police Regional Office –Cordillera’s (PRO-Cor) sponsored “Kasalan sa Kampo” on June 10.
Information obtained from PROCOR said that out of the 43 pairs, 11 registered for the mass wedding, 15 for the renewals of vows and 17 pairs for the marriage enrichment seminar.
The “Kasalan sa Kampo” was initiated by the PROCOR through the leadership of Regional Director Chief Superintendent Elmo Francis Sarona to encourage police personnel to legitimize their live-in relationship with their partners by getting married.
Aside from the vow of matrimony, the PROCOR opted to include the renewal of vows to strengthen the bond between a policeman and the spouse.
The “Kasalan sa Kampo” was opened to all policemen at the six provinces and two cities in the region, thus some of the registrants will be coming all the way from the provinces.
The “Kasalan sa kampo” on June 10 will be held at the St. Paul Parish, Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet.
The program will start with a registration from 8:30 to 9 a.m. followed by a lecture and sharing and a mass at 11 a.m.
The mass wedding and enrichment seminar will be at 3 p.m.
Philippine National Police Chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa and his wife together with his command group and directorial staff, Police Chief Superintendent Elmo Francis Sarona, will join the sponsors for the marriage ceremonies. Dionisio Dennis Jr./PNA
