ALAMINOS CITY — Two tourists were hurt when two passenger boats collided along the shore in the Governor’s Island within the Hundred Islands at about 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, the police reported Monday.

The two were identified as Dianne Angela Abasta, 17; and Cristina Zarzuela, 40, an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), both passengers of MB Babi 1 piloted by one Francis Abella, which was hit at the right side by MB Zafiel driven by one Jonnie Navarro.

Both victims suffered injuries in different parts of their bodies and were rushed to the Western Pangasinan District Hospital for treatment.

The accident happened when MB Babi 1 was maneuvering to land at the Governor’s Island while MB Zafiel 1 was about to leave the place just after unloading tourists.
