BAGUIO CITY — A television program which will serve as an avenue for people to air their grievances and bring their concerns to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is expected to start airing next week.
This was relayed by Arnell Ignacio, Assistant Vice President for Community Relations and Services of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), who will co-host the program, to the residents of Baguio and Benguet.
Ignacio was here Friday for the inauguration of the PAGCOR-donated 72 classrooms in four schools in two areas.
He said “8888 ay para sa mga hinaing ng ating mga mamamayan (8888 is for the grievance and complaints of our residents,”
He said the program will be aired every 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday on government-owned People’s Television (PTV) station.
Ignacio said the PTV program will be brought to the different regions in the country to listen to the grievances of the Filipinos.
“We will bring 8888 to the people wherever they are,” he told residents in the city and in Benguet during the two-day events Thursday and Friday for the inauguration of school building donations. Liza Agoot/PNA-northboundasia.com
