ECHAGUE, Isabela — The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said hot weather would still prevail in the province in the succeeding days due to the easterlies.
PAGASA–Isabela weather specialist Ramil Tuppil made the forecast based on the prevailing weather outlook.
Tuppil said although Isabela was experiencing scattered rains in the afternoon, hot weather would still be felt in the succeeding days.
He said the heat index in the province on Wednesday reached to 43 degrees Celcius.
Tuppil said PAGASA has yet to declare the start of the rainy season.
He also advised corn farmers to wait for the rainy seas-on before planting to avoid the wilting of corn plant during hot weather. MGEdale/PNA-northboundasia.com
