Dagupan cops probe Indian national slay

DAGUPAN CITY –Dagupan police is now investigating the slaying of an Indian national along an interior road in Barangay Bonuan Boquig here by two unidentified men who were caught by a Close Circuit Television (CCTV) camera while fleeing from the crime scene on board a motorcycle at 12:15 p.m. Saturday.

The victim, Gurmeet Singh, 32, a businessman, of Sagud Baley, San Fabian, was on board his Honda Wave motorcycle while traversing along the interior road of Sitio Sta. Maria in Bonuan Boquig, when he was shot at close range.

The victim was rushed to the Region 1 Medical Center (R1MC)
in Dagupan City where he was declared dead on arrival.

The footage of the CCTV camera that caught the suspescts while escaping from the crime scene is now being analyzed by investigators in a bid to pinpoint the perpetrators.

Three pieces of fired cartridges and one slug of 9 millimeter pistol and several blankets believed to be being carried by the victim in his motorcycle and set to be delivered by him to customers were recovered from the crime scenen

The cash money of the victim was also intact.
