CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela — The city government here will welcome on March 26, 2017 the delegates of the 12th South East Asian Youth Athletics and athletes for the national athletic open championship to be held here from March 27 to 2 April 2017.
Paul Bacungan, information officer of LGU – City of Ilagan said, Mayor Evelyn Diaz will be welcoming the delegates composed of athletes, coaches, officials and other guests from South East Asian neighbors who will show their sports skills in various athletic events.
The Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association (PATAFA) in partnership with the city government of Ilagan will lead the activity.
Bacungan said the activity will be conducted at the Ilagan city-owned sports complex.
Earlier, PATAFA President Philip Ella Juico made a series of coordination with the City of Ilagan officials for the conduct of the SEA athletic games and ironed out the security of the delegates, the sports facilities and other concern for the successful hosting of the sports events.
Bacungan said there will be separate welcoming of the sports events– the first will be conducted on 26 March 2017 at the City of Ilagan Sports Complex for the 12th South East Asian Youth Athletics and on 29 March 2017 for the national athletics open championship. PNA-northboundasia.com
