TUGUEGARAO CITY — Relatives of a 36-year-old overseas Filipino worker (OFW) are appealing to the government for the repatriation of her remains, after she and her employer were killed on February 5 in Jordan.
The victim, Felma Dalupang-Maramag of Peñablanca, Cagayan, and her employer were attacked and killed by two Jordanian workers.
Apolinario Dalupang Jr., Felma’s brother, said they learned her death on February 8, three days after.
Dalupang said the two Jordanian workers reportedly got irked with her sister’s employer, who failed to pay the required wages to the suspects, who worked on a part-time basis for a project. Villamor Visaya, Jr/PNA-northboundasia.com
