CAMP BADO DANGWA, LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET – Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency- Cordillera Regional Office (PDEA-CAR) collared three suspected drug dealers in a buy-bust operation on Wednesday night on Malvar St. in Aurora Hill, Baguio City.
PDEA-CAR identified the suspects as John Daryl Malicdem Villanueva a.k.a. Jhong Villanueva, 30, and a resident of Leonila Hill, Baguio City; Hong Kong national Joemar Roblas Cañaveral, 39, a native of Canaman, Camarines Sur and a resident of Graham Street, Central Hong Kong, China and Clint Joseph Ambrosio Macachor, 28, from Metro Manila and resident of San Antonio Village, Aurora Hill, Baguio City.
The suspects were arrested when they sold two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu valued at PHP14,000 to a PDEA-CAR undercover agent.
Confiscated from the suspects during the operation were the buy-bust money, several drug paraphernalia and a mobile phone.
They are temporarily detained at the PDEA-CAR facility pending the filing of a case for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) in relation to Section 26 (Conspiracy) , Article II of Republic Act Number 9165, otherwise known as “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”.
