3 armed drug dealers dead in shootout with Bulacan cops

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Three alleged armed drug dealers were killed in separate buy-bust operations conducted in the towns of Pandi and Obando on Monday and Tuesday.

Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., acting provincial director of Bulacan PNP, said that two of the suspects identified as one alias “Mumong” and Emarwin Pabico were killed in two different operations conducted by Pandi PNP while a certain alias “Budoy” was killed in an operation conducted by Obando police station.

Caramat said that based on the report of Chief Inspector Manuel de Vera Jr., officer-in-charge (OIC) of Pandi Municipal Police Station, Pabico was killed in a shootout around 11 p.m. Monday while Mumong was killed at 1 a.m. Tuesday, both in Barangay Cacarong Bata, Pandi town.

He said the two suspects drew their guns after sensing they were negotiating with police operatives who acted as poseur buyers.

“Our police operatives retaliated and hit the suspects,” he said.

Likewise, Caramat said the Obando PNP under Chief Inspector Arnulfo Tangol reported that suspect Budoy was killed in a buy bust operation at around 12:30 a.m. Monday in Barangay Panghulo, Obando town. PNA-northboundasia.com
