MANILA — National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Chief Supt. Oscar Albayalde on Friday confirmed the burial of the late dictator President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani (LNMB) in Taguig City.
Albayalde said the body of the former president was airlifted through helicopter from his hometown in Ilocos Norte.
Albayalde said police personnel outside the vicinity of the cemetery were reminded to strictly exercise maximum tolerance.
Rallyists from both pro and anti-Marcos groups are expected to converge outside the cemetery.
