CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela — This city’s police station has advised the business owners to be vigilant and watchful against shoplifters which already victimized grocery stores here.
Supt. Ariel Quilang, Cauayan City Police Office, said they have already registered two cases of shoplifting in the city and caught the perpetrators.
Quilang said business owners must be vigilant against the modus of perpetrators to stop the illegal activities in the city.
He also advised business owners to ensure that their closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras are functioning well to immediately identify and catch the perpetrators.
The police chief that it is during the Christmas season that there are people who are taking advantage to steal grocery products while some are engaging in Budol-Budol activities targeting mostly the senior citizens.
