MANILA — Oil firms will increase pump prices of gasoline and diesel by 10 centavos a liter effective Tuesday.
In advisories Monday, Petron Corporation, PTT Philippines and Flying V said the hike reflected movement of prices in the international market.
Flying V will implement the price adjustments by 12:01 a.m. while Petron and PTT by 6 a.m. Tuesday.
“These reflect movements in the international oil market,” Petron said.
Price of Petron’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will also be hiked by Php 3.80 per kilogram and its AutoLPG by Php 2.15 per liter effective 6 a.m. Tuesday.
“These reflect movements in international LPG contract prices for November,” the advisory said.
Petron, however, stressed that “the adjustment will not take effect in areas still under a state of calamity.” Joann Santiago/PNA-northboundasia.com
