LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — At least 18 suspects were arrested in different parts of Pangasinan when the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office under the leadership of Senior Supt. Ronald Lee, acting police provincial director, implemented 12 search warrants on Sept. 8 under the One Time Big Time (OTBT).
Lee said the search warrants were served on the houses of drug personalities in the watchlist for violation of of Republic Act No. 9165 or the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”, from where they seized several sachets of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.
He said this aggressive enforcement was part of the PPO’s intensified campaign against illegal drugs. Since the campaign began July 1, an increasing number of drug users and pushers were arrested, and large amount of dangerous drugs were seized.,
This remarkably showed, he said, the success of the anti-criminality effort waged by the police in Pangasinan.
Lee added that this “One Time Big Time” operation proved that the Pangasinan PNP was leveling up its anti-illegal drugs campaign and focused in stopping crimes in our province through the Operation Double Barrel. PNA/northboundasia.com
