3 suspected drug pushers nabbed in simultaneous search warrant operations

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — Three suspected drug pushers, one of them an alleged member of the 14K drug syndicate based in Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE) , were arrested by lawmen in three simultaneous search warrant operations in separate places in Pangasinan, two in Urdaneta City and one in Sta. Maria town on August 30.

Arrested by joint elements of the police who implemented a search warrant on August 30 at about 5:00 a.m. in Zone 7, Brgy. Labit in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan was Jumelan Manipon Andrada, 42, a former Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Qatar and an alleged member of a drug syndicate based in UAE.

The search warrant was served by elements of the Urdaneta City Police Station and the Regional Publlc Safety Battalion 1 ( RPSP 1).

Seized by lawmen were two opened transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu residue, four heat- sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be “shabu”, one broken glass tooter, one aluminum foil strip, three disposable lighters and one black/yellow pouch.

Meanwhile, a businessman was arrested by the police when they implemented another search warrant at his residence in Barangay Bantog, Sta. Maria at 5:45 a.m. August 30.

Seized from the house of the suspect, Jay Esperanza, 35, were two plastic sachets of suspected shabu, one opened sachet with suspected shabu residue and a lighter.

Also arrested by joint Urdaneta police and RSPB 1 in another search warrant operation at 5:30 a.m. of August 30 in Barangay Sto. Domingo, Urdaneta City was Roderick Tabale y Casaclang, single, barbeque vendor.

Confiscated from his house were five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be “shabu”, one improvised lamp, three disposable lighters, one aluminum foil, two disposable lighters, one small open transparent plastic sachet containing suspected residue of shabu, one empty cigarette carton and one small shoulder bag.

Cases for violation of Section 11 and 12 of Republic Act 9165 (illegal selling and illegal possession of dangerous drugs) and RA 9165 (illegal possession) were filed against all the suspects. PNA/northboundasia.com
