DAGUPAN CITY — Mayor Belen Fernandez suspended classes in Dagupan in all levels, both public and private, Wednesday (August 31 ) due to the continuing rise of water as a result of the monsoon rains that already put some barangays under water.
Fernandez did not suspend classes on Tuesday, August 30, while flood was already rising in some villages but instead advised pupils and students to bring their umbrellas and wear their jackets and boots
The city information office said some roads today are flooded, making it dangerous for students and pupils to attend classes.
Compounding to the situation in Dagupan today was the high tide that made rivers near the sea overflow their banks, flooding some barangays. PNA/northboundasia.com
