ALICIA, Isabela — Police operatives are eyeing personal grudge or illegal drug transaction motivated the killing of three men found sprawled dead on a grassy lot along the provincial road in Rizal village here early Friday morning.
Police Senior Supt. Leon Rafael, Isabela provincial police director, said the fatalities, whse bodies were riddled with bullets, were identified as Robert Carino, a 19-year-old former tricycle driver of San Antonio village and Jonathan Salvador, 21, of Magsaysay village, both of Alicia town. The third fatality is not yet known.
Police Chief Inspector Eugenio Mallillin, Alicia deputy police chief, said the remains of the three men, who were described as friends, were found by pandesal vendor Arnel Moreno at about 4:30 a.m.
Dalumay said the three men were not among those officially listed in drug watch list.
Found at the shooting scene were an M-16 Armalite rifle and various bullets of Cal. 9mm handgun. PNA/northboundasia.com
