RAMON, Isabela – Police said Sunday they have arrested a suspected shabu dealer operating in southern and central Isabela province after a search of his house yielded PHP100,000 worth of the illegal substance.
Police on Friday searched the house of Ryan Mansaya of Purok 7, Ambatali here after obtaining a warrant from a court, and found 12 sachets of suspected shabu in the master’s bedroom.
They also found drug paraphernalia, such as aluminum foil and lighters, suggesting that the place has also been used for a pot session, Ramon Police deputy chief, Sr. Insp. Marcelino Telan Jr. said.
Telan said Mansaya, who has been in their drug watch list, had earlier given himself up to the authorities under Oplan Tokhang, promising to stop dealing illegal drugs but failed to do so.
He and his live-in partner are being held for questioning, he added. PNA/northboundasia.com
