CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela — Amid the rise of dengue cases in other areas of the country, a Sangguniang Panlungsod member here has proposed for the creation of an Anti-Dengue Task Force.
SP member Joselito Anes said the task force will serve as frontliners in fighting dengue as the rainy season has started.
Anes said the task force will work in the community and serve as leaders in fighting the dreaded dengue disease through regular conduct of clean up drives in all possible breeding sites of mosquitoes. The city has 91 barangays.
“We must not wait to rise dengue cases in the city and prevention is better than curing it,” Anes said in defending his proposal.
The proposal has been approved by SP members present during the deliberation. PNA/northboundasia.com
