ORANI, Bataan — A suspected drug pusher died after he tried to shoot it out with police in a buy-bust operation in this town Thursday near midnight.
Police Senior Supt. Benjamin Silo, Jr., Bataan police director, said Carlo Paolo Razon alias “Super”, 31, of Barangay Tapulao in Orani, died in a legitimate anti-illegal drug operation in his residence.
Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered from the victim a caliber .38 revolver with five live ammunition, some empty shells from caliber 9mm, eight small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and marked Php500-bill.
Reports showed that a confidential informant and a police-poseur-buyer handed Php500 to the suspect in exchange for a sachet of shabu.
The suspect, however, sensed that he was transacting business with a police operative and pulled his revolver and about to shoot but lawmen fired at him and killed him, the report said.
Razon became the 16th suspected drug offender who died in shootout with police in Bataan since July 1. PNA/northboundasia.com
