4 killed, more than 20 injured, as explosions rock southern Thailand

BANGKOK — Four people were killed and more than 20 injured as explosions hit Thailand’s southern provinces on Thursday and Friday, police said.

Two blasts happened on Friday at around 8 a.m. in Surat Thani Province, leaving one person dead and three injured.

The first explosion happened in front of the Marine Police Division office in Surat Thani city, while the second occurred in front of the city’s police station. PNA/Kyodo/northboundasia.com
