Another suspected drug pusher shot dead in Dagupan

DAGUPAN CITY — A passenger jitney driver, who was reportedly a suspected drug pusher, was shot dead by unidentified armed men at about 2:10 p.m. at the corner of Perez Blvd., Zamora St., Brgy. II, here.

Police identified the fatality as Patricio Gonzales, 41, of Bolosan, Dagupan City. He sustained two gunshot wounds, one in the face and another on the head.

He was driving his passenger jitney traversing from south to north direction and when he stopped at the corner of Perez Blvd., two unidentified male suspects, riding on a motorcycle, shot him twice — hitting him on his face and head causing his instantaneous death.

Elements of the Dagupan City Police Station and of the City Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMC) responded to the crime scene but the perpetrators already sped away.

The Crime Scene was processed by the SOCO Team of Pangasinan Crime Laboratory Office, Lingayen, Pangasinan.

Recovered from the crime scene were two fired cartridges of Caliber 45 pistol , one slug of the same caliber and a coupon bond written with the words ” Huwag Tularan. Tulak Ako (Don’t emulate me I am a pusher)”, reportedly an indication the victim was involved in illegal drugs. PNA/ northboundasia.com
