MANILA — Over 200 passengers of a Gulf Air plane were reported safe after the plane made an emergency landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Manila on Friday afternoon.
The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said that Gulf Air flight GF 155 from Manila bound for Bahrain called for an emergency landing at around 1:10 p.m.
MIAA said that the plane landed safely at NAIA runway 24 at around 01:30 p.m.
Initial reports show that the plane had engine trouble.
Aside from the 207 passengers on the plane, there were also nine crew members and three pilots.
Gulf Air has yet to issue a statement on the incident.
