3 more drug personalities shot dead in Pangasinan

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — Three more drug personalities were shot dead reportedly by unidentified armed men in three places in Pangasinan on Friday, according to the police.

Shot dead at about 7:20 p.m. of July 29 in Barangay Coldit, Zone II, Asingan was Edward Ambrosio, alias “Bok,” 42, top 10 drug personality in the watchlist of the Asingan police, who was shot by unidentified armed armed men riding in tandem on a motorcycle, who followed him while he was test-driving his own motorcycle along the highway.

The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to the Asingan Community District Hospital but was later declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

Probers of the Asingan police recovered two empty shells of caliber .45 pistol from the crime scene.

Meanwhile, the body of an unidentified man was found at 10:45 p.m. of July 29 in front of Juli Viols Sari-Sari Store on Hererro Perez Blvd., Dagupan City.

Elements of the Dagupan City police who responded to the crime scene described the victim as about 5’5” in height, medium built, wearing black T-shirt, yellow short pants, with a tribal tattoo on his left and right shoulders, and both lower legs and buttock.

Residents in the area said the victim was shot dead by unidentified suspects riding in tandem on a motorcycle who were wearing crash helmets

Found near the body of the victim were three empty shells of caliber .99 pistol, cash and assorted keys.

Another victim of shooting at 9:40 a.m. of July 29 in Barangay Portic, Bugallon, was Edgar Tanigue, alias “Badot,” 46, who was confirmed to be a drug personality in the watchlist reportedly operating in four barangays of Bugallon.

He was believed to have been summarily executed as evidenced by three fired cartridges of caliber .45 pistol at the crime scene.

Manhunt operation is being undertaken by the Bugallon police for the arrest of the perpetrators. PNA/ northboundasia.com
