LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — A city government employee of Alaminos, Pangasinan was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Saturday at about 12:10 p.m. in Barangay Palamis, Alaminos City.
Arrested by the police was Jerry Lazo, 40, who transacted with a police poseur-buyer and to whom he sold three transparent sachets of shabu.
Seized from him, aside from the three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu, were one small transparent bottle containing white crystalline substance believed to be also shabu, one cellphone (Samsung) color black, one pouch color black, and the PHP1,000 bill buy-bust money.
The arrested suspect is now detained at the Alaminos City police jail.
Meanwhile, a pusher included in the drug priority list in Pangasinan was arrested in a buy-bust operation at 1:05 p.m. of July 23 in Barangay Malindong, Binmaley.
Arrested by joint Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives led by Agent Richie Camacho and the Binmaley Police was Jomar Valle, 21, of Barangay Malindong.
Valle was caught in the act of having illegal transaction concerning dangerous drugs to a poseur buyer from the Binmaley Police.
After the transaction was consummated, law enforcers moved in to arrest the suspect who offered no resistance.
Two pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu, the buy-bust money of PHP500 bill, one unit of Samsung cellphone, one yellow paper and one Honda TMX motorcycle were seized from the suspect. PNA/northboundasia.com
