Airlines cancel, divert flights following NAIA runway closure

MANILA — A number of airlines have cancelled and diverted flights after airport authorities on Monday afternoon implemented an emergency runway closure due to soft spot in main Runway 06/24 to avoid damage to aircraft.

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said that because of the runway closure, there will be expected flight diversions until on or about 10:00 p.m. Monday.

The following PAL flights were given new departure and arrival schedules:
