MANILA — A magnitude-3.2 earthquake jolted the province of Ilocos Norte on Friday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the tremor occurred at 11:26 a.m. with its epicenter traced six kilometers northwest of Currimao in Ilocos Norte.
The agency said that Intensity 2 felt in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
Phivolcs said the temblor, which was tectonic in origin, had a shallow depth of 21 kilometers.
The agency said that there was no casualty or damage reported from the quake while aftershocks were not expected as well. PNA / northboundasia.com
