2 wanted men from Pangasinan arrested in Abra

MALASIQUI, Pangasinan — Two wanted men from Barangay Gatang here were arrested by intelligence operatives of the Malasiqui police at 9 p.m. of June 23 in Barangay Pantoc, San Quintin, Abra where they went into hiding.

The lawmen served the alias warrant of arrest against cousins Mario Lubos, 26, and Jessie Lubos, 50, by intelligence operatives who fled to Abra since they were accused of rape in Malasiqui town.

Mario Lubos was charged with the the crime of rape in relation to Republic Acf No. 7610 as the victim was a minor, while Jessie Lubos was charged with separate three counts of rape. No bail bond was recommended for both suspects.

In serving the alias warrant of arrest, operatives of the Malasiqui police were assisted by elements of the Regional Intelligence Unit 1, Provincial Public Safety Company of Abra, and policemen of San Quintin, Abra; and Nagbukel, Ilocos Sur.

Both suspects are now in the custody of the Malasiqui Police. PNA/northboundasia.com
