SANTIAGO CITY, Isabela — The Santiago City Police Office (SCPO) has laid down three security plans that will take effect once reelected mayor Joseph Tan starts his second term on July 1,2016.
Police Superintendent Genato Birung, head of the SCPO Police Community Relations, presented the plans in support to the Duterte administration during this week’s peace and order council meeting here.
Birung said effective next month they will be intensifying anti-illegal drugs operations, observe strict implementation of city ordinances and implement warrants of arrest to crime suspects.
He said among the city ordinances that will be strictly implemented are the curfew hour for minors from 10:00pm until 4:00am and the one that prohibits drinking spree in streets, parks and in public places.
Meanwhile, to boost anti-drug operations, they will secure a copy of the names of suspected drug personalities for their ‘Oplan Katok’ and advise them to stop their illegal activities. PNA/northboundasia.com
