4 drug personalities arrested anew in Pangasinan
LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — Police operatives arrested four drug personalities , two of whom were nabbed in Urdaneta City and another two in Dagupan City on Friday.
Arrested at 2:00 p.m. of June 10 at Block 2 Lot 14 Bonifacio Extension, Las Villas, Brgy. Catablan, Urdaneta City by elements of the Urdaneta City Police’s Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operation Task Group (CAIDSOTG) and Intelligence section, in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 1, were Carlito Noguerras, alias “Rommel, 40 and one Ferdinand Pabustan, 36, of Sta. Barbara town.
Nogueras was identified as a listed drug personality while Pabustan is a newly emerged drug personality.
Confiscated from them were seven heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with an estimated street value of Php15,000; 20 pieces of small empty transparent plastic sachets; two apple iphones and Php 500 used by the police poseur buyer as marked money.
Cases of Illegal Sale of Dangerous Drugs and Illegal Possession of Dangerous Drugs are now being readied against the suspects.
Arrested in Dagupan City at about 6 p.m. of June 10 at Sitio BLISS Bonuan Binloc, Dagupan City, particularly along the seashore, by personnel of Police Community Precinct in Bonuan Tondaligan Dagupan was Diane Reyes, 33, ,a native of Bontoc Mountain Province and a resident of China St., Bonuan Binloc, Dagupan City’ and Ernesto Posadas, 47, a pipe fitter, of Sitio Korea, Bonuan Binloc, Dagupan City
They were caught from their possession, control and custody of four small heat sealed plastic sachets containing white crystalline granules suspected to be shabu.
The two came from Dimlas Cottage in Bonuan Binloc but took the seashore to escape detection from the police manning a checkpoint along a road leading to the Muslim settlement area.
Nonetheless, they were arrested by policemen implementing Oplan Sita. Reyes was identified as being on the drug watch list .
When police officers confronted Reyes, she voluntarily surrendered two small heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu.
Posadas pulled out from the pocket of his short pants, another two small heat- sealed plastic sachets, which dropped to the ground when confronted.
A case for Violation of Section 11, Art II of Republic Act 9165 is being prepared against the suspects. PNA/northboundasia.com
